形態特徵

• Undershrubs or perennial herbs to 1.2 m tall; stems subquadrate, sulcate, ca. 8 mm thick, appressed hairy, glabrescent.
• Leaves opposite, often alternate in upper part of stem, widely ovate to orbicular, 5-16 cm long, 2.5-9 cm wide, apex aristate, margins serrate-denticulate, base obtuse to rounded, velutinous and hirsute on both surfaces; petioles 1.5-11.5 cm long, velutinous; stipules linear, ca. 8 mm long, velutinous along veins.
• Inflorescences leafy or usually on leafy branches; bracteoles long triangular; peduncles appressed hairy. Male flowers 4-merous.

分布

• 台灣 : at medium altitudes around Tongpu in Nantou County.
• 世界 : Distributed from India and China to Indonesia, Malaysia and Vietnam.
